Co-Founder & Co-President
Sabrina Effron is currently a freshman at Princeton University. She founded Speak English Together with her brother, Jimmy, because of their passion for education and learning. She loves to help young students improve in their studies and has been actively tutoring and teaching disadvantaged children through various organizations for years. Sabrina also loves learning about the Spanish language and its diverse cultures. With the introduction of virtual platforms like Zoom into everyday life during the pandemic, Sabrina and Jimmy found an opportunity to connect with disadvantaged students worldwide. Since both Sabrina and Jimmy study Spanish in school, they were inspired to create a program in which Spanish-speaking children in developing countries learning English could speak with native English speakers.
