In a world where we are all looking for ways to be "helpers", Speak English Together, provides just that opportunity. It takes just a little bit of your time and, from my own experience, that little bit of time reaps big rewards. I am Alison and was connected with a lovely lady from Guatemala named Rocio with the goal of helping her with her English speaking skills. Little did I know how enriching this experience would be. First just making the connection with a lovely person and then her sincere gratitude for my time are such positives. On top of that, learning about her country, her background, her family and discussing all those things and more is an experience that has opened my eyes and taught me about a part of the world that I didn't know a lot about. It's been time well spent and I highly recommend it!
