Hi everyone! My name is Eliza and I am a senior at Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, Maryland. I began taking Mandarin from 1st to 3rd grade, and then started again in 5th grade. This year will be my eighth year studying Chinese! Everything from the language to the culture fascinates me, so when I found SET I knew it would be a great way to exercise my language skills and also help others learn English. I love meeting new people and learning about their lives through a new lens. I hope to continue studying Chinese in college and am grateful for the opportunity SET gives me to keep learning!
