SET Students Volunteer

Michelle S.

Hi! My name is Michelle Silverman and I am a junior at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School. Growing up in a bilingual household speaking English and Hebrew has taught me the value of communicating with different people and being able to translate for those who don’t understand. In 7th grade, I started learning Spanish at school. Although learning a third language is not easy, SET has furthered my love for the Spanish language and culture. I look forward to conversing with the students I am paired with each week. Also, I am fortunate to have this beautiful opportunity to learn more about each other's lives in different places worldwide by growing our language skills.
